"Don't worry about it" / "Just don't worry" - It's essentially asking someone to switch off a feeling on command, which isn't how anxiety or grief work. Said with good intentions, but it usually just makes people feel unheard rather than reassured.
"Everything happens for a reason" - Implies some cosmic plan behind tragedy, which can feel dismissive or even insulting when someone's dealing with real loss. It skips past the pain instead of acknowledging it.
"It could be worse" - True in almost any situation, which is exactly the problem - it minimizes what someone's actually feeling right now by comparing it to a hypothetical worse scenario nobody asked about.
"Time heals all wounds" - Might be true eventually, but in the moment it offers zero present-tense comfort and can feel like being told to just wait it out alone.
"Just stay positive" - Puts the burden back on the struggling person to perform optimism, and can make them feel guilty for having a legitimate negative reaction to a bad situation.
