According to data from Singapore's Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the private residential property price index rose by 2.3% in the fourth quarter of 2024, bringing full-year price growth to 3.9%. This reflected a moderating market compared to the 6.8% growth recorded in 2023, as buyers remained selective amid elevated interest rates and increased housing supply. Analyses from real estate research firms such as CBRE Singapore noted that while robust end-of-year new launches powered the Q4 uptick, 2024 as a whole represented the slowest full-year pace of private home price growth in Singapore since 2020.
