Animal feeding & hunting videos: which one hit you hardest — excitement or disgust?

Nature doesn't do subtlety. Some clips make your pulse spike with pure adrenaline — a coordinated hunt, a chase, a kill against the odds. Others just make your stomach turn — the swallowing, the tearing, the sheer patience of something eating. Below are eight real, well-known feeding and hunting clips, each with its own video. Watch (or skip straight to the ones you already know), then vote for the one that hit you hardest — and say in the comments whether it was excitement, disgust, or both at once.

The jaw unhinges, the throat stretches to a size that looks anatomically impossible, and the whole animal disappears in slow, grinding gulps. For a lot of people this is the gross-out pick, no contest. (24%)🥈 Komodo dragons tearing into carrion. Dragons rip chunks off a carcass with a violent head-shaking technique, shoving and hissing at each other over the meat. Slow, patient, and stomach-turning in a completely different way than a fast kill. (24%)🥉 Vultures swarming a wildebeest carcass (Nature Bites). Dozens descend at once, shoving, hissing, and climbing over each other until there's nothing left but bone. Nature's clean-up crew at its most chaotic — oddly mesmerizing, undeniably gross.
