Whopper (Burger King) -- flame-grilled beef, tomato, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and onion on a sesame bun. The flame-grilling is the whole pitch: char-grilled flavor no other chain claims to match.

Baconator (Wendy's) -- fresh never-frozen beef, six strips of bacon, cheese, ketchup and mayo, no produce allowed. Built for people who think the salad toppings on a burger were a mistake to begin with.
